The internet is a very good resource to do alot of things. But on the flipside there are many dangers that the internet pose. This article does a good job of summerizing the dangers that are on the internet.
In reading the article, I see that identity theft and credit card fraud top the list of internet crimes. I believe that the internet is a great resource and tool; however, this tool must be used and engaged with caution.
I agreee with Aja about identity theft being one of the top crimes. I think it is good to talk about all the dangers because i think we all froget sometimes especially because a lot of time you are on a computer by yourself and not concerned about anyone stealing anything of yours or other crimes that are associated with internet
When I think about online crime i usually think about online piracy, almost anything a person can want can be found for free online or bought at a lesser price. websites like the pirates bay even make online piracy a matter of pride and allow you take documents programs and private information. literally anything can be found if you look hard enough.
